How To Vote

Election Day - November 8th, 2022
Please take the time and take part in making a choice in the people who serve our community. With additional voting options of Vote By Mail and Early voting, there are many of us who need your support at the polls.
Vote By Mail

Registered voters can now request a Vote By Mail ballot for the November 8th General Election. You will need either the last four digits of your social security or your drivers license number to apply online. You can also print out a Vote By Mail application which can be mailed to the Election Commission. By selecting ALL Future Elections, you are applying for the Permanent Vote By Mail Program. This means that you will receive a Vote By Mail ballot for all future elections. By selecting 2022 General Election, you are applying to receive a Vote By Mail ballot for the November 8, 2022 General Election only.

Ballots will begin to be mailed on September 29th, when early voting starts at the County early voting location. Your ballot must be postmarked no later than election day for your vote to count, but we recommend to send your ballot in early.  You may also drop off your voted Ballots at the DuPage County Clerk Election Division office, at drop boxes located at the parking lot and main entrance of the Jack T. Knuepfer Administration Building, 421 N County Farm Road, Wheaton, or at drop boxes located within all DuPage County Early Voting Sites and Polling Places on Election Day.  Please make sure to sign the back of your Vote By Mail Envelope. If you change your mind and decide to vote in person, bring your vote by mail ballot and envelope with you to the polling place and let the election judge know so they can assist you properly and get you a ballot.
